Interview Nails

I’ve been wanting to do special Shifting Into Love nails, but the story and the cover are taking all of my skills, which drains all of my energy.

And the stories aren’t paying my bills yet, so I’m in search of a job. I had interview two today for a choir directing job I’d really like to get. I’m having a third interview for it in a couple of weeks. Was it the nails that got me the third interview? 😉

Free Nail Art Book!

NailsBillionaire

Hello! I hope you’re having a great weekend. I sent all the personalized copies of Nails for a Billionaire to all of the winners in my voting contest. If you won, and you haven’t received an email from me, please contact me at evelynaster@aol.com.

I have exciting news for the rest of you: Nails for a Billionaire is FREE for a limited time at All Romance! You can download it for Kindle, Nook, any epub reader or pdf. Honestly I like the pdf file the best on my laptop because I can see the details of the nails the most.

Summary:

This is a glimpse into the Beautician and the Billionaire series with over 70 nail designs you’ll want to show to your manicurist. This is NOT a DIY guide. If you want to snag a billionaire, you have to spend the bucks!

There’s a running monologue throughout with a bit of a story that I hope you enjoy in addition to the nail designs. Thanks for being my readers! Please enjoy my gift to you!

Party Nails

Time is running out to sign up for your free copy of all 9 episodes of The Beautician and the Billionaire. Sign up and you’ll get to read the last episode first! Check out this post for the instructions.

Today’s scene mentioned Charisse’s nails for the party. This is what I imagined they looked like: Continue reading

Mother’s Day Marble Nails

I hope everyone had a great day celebrating with your mothers or being the mother celebrated! I enjoyed the family gathering at Il Vicino which is a lovely pizza place here and in Colorado I believe. I’m still stuffed and we ate at noon!

I did my nails up fancy and wanted to show them off to you. I’m still not getting the perfectly symetrical effect that I see on the web, but I like the results. I tend towards the chaotic anyway.

Be sure to come back tomorrow and find out more about Charisse collapsing right before the party!

More Nail Photo Editing

I’ve been working hard on Nails for a Billionaire. The view was great at Michael Thomas Coffee Roaster today. I of course had my drink:

And then the Albuqueruque Fire departmanet showed up. Mmmmmmmmmmmm. Next time I really need to ask to take their picture.

When I quit being distracted by the hot men, I got back to work and changed up another pic for my book:

Happy Mother’s Day!

Picture Editing

Nails for a Billionaire is a huge project. I wasn’t quite thinking this through when I decided on it. I especially wasn’t thinking clearly when I decided I could get it out by the end of May. But I haven’t given up by any means.

As you know, I’ve been learning photo editing and graphic design skills. I get excited about every new task I learn how to do. I wanted to share a couple of photos with you tonight and see what you think.

The original Corporate Billionaire photo looked like this: Continue reading

My Tribute to Arena by Holly Jennings

Soooooo one of my writer friends had a book published in book stores across the nation this month! I am thrilled for her! As soon as I’m done with The Beautician and the Billionaire Episodes 8-9 and Nails for a Billionaire, I’ll be reading it.

The book is Arena by Holly Jennings.

Every week, Kali Ling fights to the death on national TV.
She’s died hundreds of times. And it never gets easier…

The cover inspired me to try the water marble nail technique for the first time ever. It’s hard! The tutorials on You Tube make it look oh so easy, but they leave out little details like you have to drop the nail polish in quickly, and just use the very tip of a sharp tool to make the patterns. The second hand went much faster. It’s definitely a technique I’ll try to perfect. Here is my first attempt as a tribute to Holly Jenning’s debut science fiction romance novel Arena:

Have you ever done water marble technique before? Any tips? Please give them to me in the comments below. And Read Arena!
