Getting creative with my nails last night before a date.
And gold tattoos are always fun. I’m sure a dragon would prefer real gold on his date. I wonder if gold is a dragon’s favorite scent.

Charisse heard a knock, though she’d left her door open. “Come in,” she said from the bathroom. She fluffed her hair with her hands as she mentally criticized her reflection in the mirror. She’d gone with a long black silk gown. The neckline showed off the tops of her breasts without plunging down as the green gown had. There was no slit in the skirt, but it came up to mid-calf in the front and touched the floor in the back. Her gold nails and heels went well, and the necklace would be much more of a showpiece now. Charisse lay curled up in the dark. The high thread count cotton sheets and pillow top mattress gave her no comfort. At least she had pajamas on. She was sure they were what Raul had chosen and not something Conor picked out. They were plain knit shorts and a cami. By tomorrow night she’d probably be sleeping in a sheer teddy…if she was lucky. Today we’re going back in time a little at the salon to see what’s been going on while Conor’s been morose in his office. It’s not looking good for Charisse. Josh has found her.

Wishful Wednesday! Charisse is wishing a lot of things were different now!
Charisse brushed gel polish over her client’s nails. She didn’t usually do manicures, but since their manicurist left, everyone had taken on a few nail clients.
The woman said, “I’m so glad you could take me today after all. My husband’s coming home from a long business trip, and my nails looked dreadful.”
“I’m sorry about all the confusion,” said Charisse. “I was sick yesterday and didn’t think I’d make it in.” Inwardly she grumbled about Conor being right. She’d known what he said was probably the best business practice, but a salon didn’t necessarily run by those rules. Continue reading

Sorry I didn’t get the next part of Episode Three posted, but look at what I’ve been working on:
Yes, you’re seeing that right: Episodes 1-4! It’ll be published this week! Episode four will come out individually as well, but I won’t be blogging it until January. And, I won’t be posting all of Episode 4. This blog has an R rating, and I’ve been reluctant to change it to X. It’s been a tough decision, but some of the scenes are going to be available in the for sale editions only.
Tomorrow I’ll be back with more from Episode 3. I’ll also have a more definitive release date. My Hot Java Team is scattered right now. Some went to New York, others went to Hawaii, and they left me here in NM chained to my computer!
I can’t really complain, though, because I love the work. See you tomorrow!
