It’s still cold with fresh snow on the mountains, so I celebrated with hot drinks. I wanted to put Baileys in them, but I have a ton of work to do tonight. Toffee coffee!
Remember The Beautician and the Billionaire Episode 8: The Party will be out this week! Come by tomorrow for a chance to win a $5 Amazon gift card. Cheers!
Good morning! The voting and giveaway will resume tomorrow. I need to finish my taxes among other things.
Episode 8 will be published this week!
In the meantime, Conor and Charisse might be finally moving ahead as a couple:
Charisse sat in a booth, holding hands across the table with Conor. She had a strange sense of familiarity mixed with the giddiness of a first date. When she saw Conor, her spontaneous response had been defiance. But by rolling with it, Conor had given them the fresh start they both wanted. Continue reading →
Soooooo one of my writer friends had a book published in book stores across the nation this month! I am thrilled for her! As soon as I’m done with The Beautician and the Billionaire Episodes 8-9 and Nails for a Billionaire, I’ll be reading it.
Every week, Kali Ling fights to the death on national TV. She’s died hundreds of times. And it never gets easier…
The cover inspired me to try the water marble nail technique for the first time ever. It’s hard! The tutorials on You Tube make it look oh so easy, but they leave out little details like you have to drop the nail polish in quickly, and just use the very tip of a sharp tool to make the patterns. The second hand went much faster. It’s definitely a technique I’ll try to perfect. Here is my first attempt as a tribute to Holly Jenning’s debut science fiction romance novel Arena:
Have you ever done water marble technique before? Any tips? Please give them to me in the comments below. And Read Arena!
Good morning! There’s been a slight schedule change. My editor and I decided last night that Episode 8 should be split into two episodes. Episode 8: The Party will come out next week as scheduled, and the final episode will come out in May along with Nails for a Billionaire. Which Means Shifting Into Love and Through the Painting won’t be coming out until June and July.
I’m actually pleased that my planning was only off by one episode! Please look forward to the future releases!
Conor closed the black velvet jewelry case and slipped it into his coat pocket. Perfect. Now he had to figure out the best time to give it to Charisse. Continue reading →
Good morning! Please stop by and vote for your favorite Property Billionaire. I got the post up late, so you have until 9:30 MDT. Sorry, my schedule was crazy. Today is all about taxes. Hopefully I’ll be done before then!
And now on with Episode 7. Will Charisse finally get some info on Mom?
Raul finished preparing her plate without talking. When he slid it over to her he said in a thick accent, “You have to eat at least half of that before I say anything at all. You haven’t been eating enough.” Continue reading →

Good morning! Sorry, everything is going to be late today. I realized after I posted yesterday that I have an appointment today when the voting is supposed to close for the Entrepreneur Billionaire. So today’s voting will go on a little longer. There are great comments about these guys, so be sure to check it out, cast your vote and tell me what you think. You might win a $5 gift card to Amazon or a personalized e-copy of Nails for A Billionaire!
And now on to Charisse. Why the heck is she so exhausted?
Charisse sat in the cottage at the bar between the dining area and the kitchen, snacking on vegetables and dip that Raul had set out for her. Raul stood at a rangetop on the other side, scrambling eggs and frying bacon and potatoes. The kitchen, like everything in the house, was small. The smell of bacon and warmth of the fire in the dining room fireplace made it cozy. Charisse could easily picture herself spending more time in the cottage than in the mansion if she lived here. Congratulations to Mary Ann! She’s the winner of the $5 gift card to Amazon and the personalized e-copy of Nails for a Billionaire when it comes out in May!

We have a tie for the best Corporate Billionaire. Your winners are:
Corporate Billionaire 1
Corporate Billionaire 4
Billionaire 3 came in with a close second, so I might find a spot for him in the book 🙂
Corporate Billionaire 3
But so long Billionaire 2. You were a little too douchey for everyone I think 😀
For those of you who have just stopped by, here’s a run down of the rules:
Each day this week, I’ll be posting 4 pictures in one of the categories.
In the comments, please vote for your favorite picture. The man who gets the most votes will be featured in the book.
After 24 hours, I’ll close the voting, put the names of everyone who voted in a hat and draw out two names.
The first name drawn will recieve a $5 gift card to Amazon and a free personalized e-copy of the book when it’s released at the beginning of May. The ebook will have a page thanking you for supporting my book and blog and a special picture of the billionaire you voted for. Check here for an example.
The second name drawn will also receive a free personalized e-copy of Nails for a Billionaire as described above.
I’ll post the winners at the top of the next day’s voting blog. Vote every day!
Today’s category is the Entrepreneur Billionaire. He often comes from a poor or middle class family, takes risks and affords a more unorhtodox appearance than the Corporate Billionaire.
